The Frontier Atlas
THE LEDGER — 114 OPEN QUESTIONS ACROSS 36 ENTRIES

The open questions

Every unresolved question on the map, in one place — the research agenda of the emerging world. If you can answer one from real experience or a real source, report from the field.

PureWave Cell
  • Has the bee-colony study been independently published or peer-reviewed, and can the actual paper be located and linked?
  • Do the human-health uses described (circulation, sleep, pathogen exposure) have evidence beyond the maker's own account and user testimony?
  • What is the real unit cost and ongoing value to a buyer, separate from the beekeeping mission funding?
  • What is the Chrysalis Energizer, and can the allergy, sight and hearing effects attributed to it be examined anywhere outside the maker's own account?
SeedHome
  • Has any SeedHome unit actually been built and independently assessed, or is this still at prototype/investment-deck stage? (The maker's own site describes 'this first villa' as a prototype.)
  • Is there any independent test of the BioGeometry EMF-neutralization claim specific to this structure, separate from Karim's own framework?
  • What does a completed SeedHome actually cost a buyer, and how does the blueprint-licensing model translate to real unit economics?
PhiRay
  • Has any party outside the maker's own testimonials and comparison table independently measured PhiRay's claimed 2–4x power increase over Theraphi?
  • Is the claim that 'Sandra Rose lost a court case' regarding EESystem's origins accurate — can the actual case be located?
  • What is the actual recourse or value transfer for prior Theraphi buyers now that the maker calls that product obsolete?
Piezo Phire
  • What does 'accurate across 2–4x the harmonics of Theraphi' actually mean as a measurable, testable claim — and has anyone outside the maker's circle tested it?
  • What is the actual mechanism proposed for a piezo device affecting pain/inflammation/circulation, and does it have any grounding independent of the maker's own negentropy framework?
Plasmaphire
  • What did the 'live blood cell trials' referenced on the product page actually measure, and were they published or reviewed by anyone outside the maker's team?
  • Given the seller's own disclaimer that no medical claims are made, how should the testimonial-driven health language elsewhere on the same page be read?
PhireCrystal
  • Is there any account of PhireCrystal's effect independent of the maker's own testimonials and framing?
  • The product explicitly rejects 'orgone'/'etheric' terminology in favor of 'implosive capacitance' — is this a real terminological distinction or a rebranding of the same category of claim?
  • What is the actual verifiable connection between the Edgar Cayce Atlantis account and the physical product being sold?
Star Mother Kit
  • Is the 'charging seeds/rock powder' claim tested in any way, or is it presented purely as folk practice alongside the geometry-teaching function?
  • Setting aside the energetic claims, does the kit function well simply as a physical model for teaching Platonic solid geometry and the golden ratio?
Science and Alchemy of Consciousness (France)
  • Are the academic credentials advertised for speakers (particularly the 'Prof. Dr.' title) independently verifiable through university records?
  • What is the actual attendance size, and how much of the content is device demonstration/sales versus independent lecture content?
  • How does this gathering compare in structure and openness to other pop-up/frontier gatherings the Atlas tracks, like Edge City?
Auroville — The City of Dawn
  • What do the cited UNESCO and Government of India 'statements of support' actually consist of as formal documents, beyond the goodwill framing on Auroville's own site?
  • What is Auroville's actual current population and land area from an independent census, versus the self-reported '3,300 people from 60 nations'?
  • Auroville has a long, publicly documented history of land-acquisition and internal-governance conflict over 58 years — none of which appears on the organization's own homepage. What does that history actually look like, and how does it affect the 'human unity' framing?
Edge City
  • Has any Edge City pop-up actually graduated participants into the planned permanent 'Esmeralda Institute' town, and if so, how many people and on what terms?
  • What is the actual cost of attendance/residency, and how accessible is participation beyond the tech/crypto-adjacent, well-resourced attendee base implied by the named-attendee list?
  • How does the 'micro-exit' governance experimentation described in the organization's own framing actually function during a village in practice, versus as aspirational language?
Findhorn Foundation / Park Ecovillage Findhorn
  • What is the actual current full-time resident population of Park Ecovillage Findhorn, as distinct from program attendees, online-community members, and newsletter subscribers?
  • At 63 years old, one of the oldest ecovillages in the world — what has Findhorn's governance and economic self-sufficiency model actually evolved into, and how is it funded beyond program fees and donations?
  • What is the actual admissions or vetting process for becoming a full resident, versus attending a paid program or joining the free online community?
Tamera
  • What does a 'Healing Biotope' actually consist of operationally, beyond the branding language — is it a legal/land structure, a research methodology, or primarily a community identity?
  • Tamera's 'Healing of Love' research area explicitly addresses sexuality and relationships — what does this involve in practice, and how (if at all) is it evaluated as research rather than described as lifestyle or belief?
  • What is Tamera's actual current population and residency/membership process?
Zuzalu
  • Has the specific Zuzalu event (Montenegro, 2023) ever been repeated, or did the concept fully transition into spinoff/successor gatherings such as Edge City?
  • Buterin himself asks in the original piece whether 'Zuzaluism' is destined to remain a niche cultural movement — has that question been answered in the time since publication?
  • What became of the specific technologies tested (Zupass, Zupoll) — are they still in active use anywhere, including at successor events?
Energy Enhancement System (EESystem)
  • Is there any independent, peer-reviewed measurement of the claimed 'scalar field,' separate from the inventor's own materials?
  • A competitor (PhiRay, charted in this region) publicly claims 'Sandra Rose lost a court case showing even the original idea was stolen' — is that specific legal claim accurate, and what is the actual origin dispute?
  • What does a session actually cost across the 500+ centers, and what independent outcome data exists?
Somavedic
  • Are the referenced sleep and EMF studies independent and published, or company-commissioned and unpublished?
  • What does 'structuring water' mean as a measurable, testable claim, and is there any evidence for it beyond the maker's framing?
  • How does Somavedic's effect compare to a placebo control in any blinded setting?
Vielight
  • The device-specific clinical trials (Alzheimer's, TBI) — what stage are they at, and what were the actual effect sizes versus sham controls?
  • How much of the cited '30+ studies' base is on Vielight devices specifically versus photobiomodulation as a general category?
  • What is the durability of any cognitive effect after a treatment course ends?
Muse
  • For the marquee institutions (NASA, MIT, Harvard) — what did the research actually study, and does any of it bear on the consumer meditation/sleep claims specifically?
  • How does the claimed 88–96% PSG sleep-staging accuracy hold up in independent validation, versus the company's own figures?
  • Does the neurofeedback training produce durable focus/calm improvements, or only in-session effects?
Sensate
  • Are the cited studies (Maastricht, sleep pilot) independent and published, or company-run?
  • Does infrasonic chest vibration actually stimulate the vagus nerve as claimed, versus producing general relaxation by another route?
  • How do the specific figures (48% stress reduction, +55 min sleep) hold up against a placebo/sham device?
NuCalm
  • What are the actual 'clinically proven' studies behind the patent, by name — as opposed to the endorsement list?
  • How much of the effect is attributable to the neuroacoustic audio (which has real neuroscience grounding) versus the adhesive biosignal disc (which invites more skepticism)?
  • Does the institutional adoption (dentistry, sports) reflect measured outcomes or convenience/comfort?
Apollo Neuro
  • Of the '17+ completed studies,' how many are independently published and peer-reviewed versus internal, and what were the effect sizes?
  • Did HRV or sleep measurably improve over 30 days in controlled conditions, versus a sham vibration?
  • How much of the reported benefit is specific to Apollo's vibration patterns versus general relaxation from any gentle wearable stimulation?
Harmonic Egg
  • With no medical studies claimed, what exactly is the measured effect beyond self-reported relaxation?
  • How does a session in the chamber compare to ordinary sound/light relaxation (e.g. a quiet room with music) in a controlled setting?
  • What does a session cost across licensed centers, and what is the licensing/franchise model for operators?
AmpCoil
  • The voice-analysis-to-frequency-selection layer has no obvious evidentiary basis — what is it actually doing, and is it distinguishable from a placebo/randomized program?
  • Which of the cited PEMF studies used parameters comparable to AmpCoil's, versus PEMF in unrelated configurations?
  • What is the real cost of ownership, and which programs produced which reported outcomes?
NeoRhythm
  • Which specific Bioelectromagnetics papers are cited, and do they test PEMF at NeoRhythm's actual field strengths and frequencies?
  • What did the original crowdfunding campaign claim versus what shipped, and how have the '7,200+ backers'-era promises held up?
  • Is there any blinded comparison of NeoRhythm against a sham headband?
DENAS-PCM
  • What is DENAS's actual regulatory and clinical status in Russia versus how it is marketed in Western wellness contexts — these may differ substantially?
  • Where is the authoritative manufacturer source? The Atlas could not reach a clean primary site and sourced this from a third-party curation — a gap to close.
  • How does DENAS's frequency-selection differ, if at all, from standard TENS units already in medical use?
Ananda Wellness (PEMF)
  • What are the actual NASA PEMF studies referenced, by name — the same open question that recurs for PureWave Cell?
  • What are the 'five energies,' and is 'organic Dopamine' release a measurable claim or marketing language?
  • Where is the authoritative manufacturer source, and what is the real device and price?
DeVita BRT
  • Bioresonance as a category lacks accepted independent evidence — is there any controlled study of DeVita specifically, or does it rest entirely on the tradition and testimonials?
  • What does 'inverting pathological oscillations' mean as a physically measurable process?
  • Where is the authoritative manufacturer source and real pricing?
Super Imploder
  • The general MTD literature is mixed and contested — which specific studies used configurations comparable to the Super Imploder, and at what effect size?
  • What are the actual agricultural results (yield, water use) from independent users versus the maker's claims?
  • What is the current price across tiers, and how does it compare to conventional magnetic water softeners?
Theraphi
  • How accurately does Theraphi's framing represent the actual Priore history, versus adopting it as branding? (The real Priore story is well-documented and worth reading independently.)
  • Where is the Elizabeth Rauscher FDA study, by citation?
  • Now that the maker calls Theraphi obsolete, what is the actual recourse or upgrade path for existing owners?
Blue Emerald Alchemy (Ormus / Monoatomic Gold)
  • Is there any independent chemical analysis of what 'monoatomic gold' / Ormus products actually contain?
  • The claims (molecular/mitochondrial 'communication,' spiritual expansion) are not framed as testable — how should a reader weigh a product that explicitly sits outside the evidence frame?
  • What is the actual price range and sourcing of the raw materials?
Bitcoin
  • Satoshi Nakamoto's identity remains unknown — the most famous open question in this entire territory, and one the Atlas records rather than speculates on.
  • The paper describes peer-to-peer electronic cash — how the network's dominant real-world uses today compare to that original stated design is a live, contested conversation the Atlas does not adjudicate.
  • How is a protocol with no company and no headquarters actually governed in practice — who decides what changes, and how? (A question that connects this entry to the Governance thread.)
The Network State
  • Has any community following this playbook actually achieved the book's endpoint — diplomatic recognition — or does the path so far stop at the earlier stages (online community, physical footprint)?
  • The book proposes 'The One Commandment' — a single moral innovation as a society's founding move. Which real network-state experiments have articulated one, and did it hold?
  • How does the network-state frame relate to the older intentional-community lineage this map also charts (Auroville, Findhorn) — succession, parallel tradition, or rediscovery?
Med Beds — The Phenomenon
  • How did Tesla BioHealing respond to the FDA's 2023 letter — were the disease claims withdrawn, and does today's softer 'wellness' vocabulary reflect that correction?
  • What is a 'biophoton energy field' in measurable terms, and has any independent instrument characterized what these devices emit?
  • 90.10's own CEO says it is not a medical product — what, then, is a buyer of a $19,999 'quantum entangled' virtual bed actually purchasing, in the seller's own definition?
  • What is the standing of the journals where the companies' cited studies appear — indexed and peer-reviewed, or pay-to-publish?
  • 9010.com now presents itself as an independent 'Research & Philosophy' frontier-science association rather than a MedBed storefront — when did that pivot happen, and what does it mean for existing customers?
The Violet Ray
  • Which of the era's claims, if any, later found support in modern electrotherapy research — and which were pure marketing? (The modern esthetician 'high-frequency wand' is this same device, still sold for skin care.)
  • What actually ended the violet ray — the FDA enforcement wave, antibiotics making its claims obsolete, or both?
  • How many of today's frequency-device claims are restatements of violet-ray-era claims, traceable almost verbatim across a century?
XPRIZE Healthspan
  • How is 'restoring function by 10 years' actually measured — what are the muscle, cognition, and immune endpoints, and who validates them?
  • What kinds of therapies dominate the 198 teams — drugs, gene therapies, protocols, devices — and does anything from the fringe end of this map appear among them?
  • What happens to the therapies that demonstrate results — open publication, licensing, or enclosure?
Spooky2
  • Has anyone instrumented the output? No independent measurement of what actually reaches tissue in each of the four modes has been located — that single test would settle more than any testimonial.
  • Where does the frequency database come from? The software ships roughly 20,000 programs across named lists (CAFL, KHZ, XTRA, ETDF, BIO, DH presets). Who derived those numbers, by what method, and is the provenance documented anywhere?
  • What happened after the FTC letter — were the COVID pages withdrawn, was a 48-hour response filed, and did anything change beyond the vocabulary?
  • How does republishing a cancer-wound testimonial in a marketing email sit with the company's own 'not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, cure, treatment or mitigation of any disease' disclaimer? Are these accounts solicited, vetted, or simply forwarded?
  • What separates Spooky2's structure — free software, 'experimental device' framing, claims living in a large user forum — from the Rife sellers who were criminally prosecuted in the US? Is the difference legal architecture or claim discipline?
  • Where does the money go? The maker describes profits accruing to a 'Rife Trust for Mankind' / 'Spooky2 Trust'; the skeptical reviewer could locate no details of either. The Atlas has not either.
Cosmic Summit
  • Why is there no 2026 edition? The site jumps from June 2025 to a 2027 return with a reservation list — a deliberate rhythm change, a production pause, or something else unstated.
  • Where does the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis actually stand in the peer-reviewed literature now, nearly twenty years after the 2007 paper — and how much of the conference's programme depends on it holding?
  • What were the stated grounds for the Tall el-Hammam retraction, and how do they read against the host's 'scientific cowardice' framing?
  • Has the Khafre Project's Giza scan data — presented publicly in the US for the first time at the 2025 Summit — been published or independently assessed since?
  • What is the commercial layer around the stage? The Atlas arrived here because a device maker gave a PureWave Cell to a creator at Cosmic Summit, who then disclosed it on air. Who else vends, sponsors, or gifts into that room, and is any of it disclosed by default?
  • How do the two entities interact financially — a for-profit production company staging the hypothesis of a donation-funded 501(c)(3) whose co-directors also speak from the stage?
